Maptrail on Web Browser
Runs in any modern browser — nothing to install, works the same on any machine you log in from.
Setup on Web Browser
Download the installer
Download the latest Maptrail installer from the GitHub Releases page (https://github.com/bensblueprints/sitemap-generator-mvp/releases) — or build it yourself from the MIT source.
Install
Run the installer — one click, no terminal, no account to create.
Run it locally
Maptrail runs 100% on your machine — no account, no telemetry, and it keeps working with the Wi-Fi off.
What works offline: everything. Maptrail is a desktop app — once it's installed, no feature needs a connection to us.
Maptrail on Web Browser — honest answers
Is it really free on GitHub?
Yes — Maptrail is MIT-licensed at github.com/bensblueprints/sitemap-generator-mvp. The $19 buys the signed Windows installer, 1-click setup and updates; building from source is free.
Does my crawl data get uploaded?
Never. Maptrail makes network requests only to the site you tell it to crawl — no telemetry, no update pings, no account. History lives in a local SQLite file.
