Setup

Setup on Docker

STEP 01

Download the installer

Download the latest Bloom Meeting installer from the GitHub Releases page (https://github.com/bensblueprints/bloommeeting/releases) — or build it yourself from the MIT source.

STEP 02

Install

Run the installer — one click, no terminal, no account to create.

STEP 03

Run it locally

Bloom Meeting runs 100% on your machine — no account, no telemetry, and it keeps working with the Wi-Fi off.

What works offline: everything. Bloom Meeting is a desktop app — once it's installed, no feature needs a connection to us.

FAQ

Bloom Meeting on Docker — honest answers

Do my guests have to install anything?

No. Guests open a browser link — up to 4 guests plus the host. Only the host runs the desktop app.

What happens if the connection is bad during the call?

Nothing, to the recording. The live call only carries the conversation — each participant records locally on their own machine, so the tracks are studio quality even if the call stutters.
